Aseco South Africa was founded in 2009 through a joint venture between USS United Shipping Services AB, and Global Star Shipping (Pty) Ltd South Africa. In 2023 GSS secured the balance of the shares and has been entrusted to continue with the use the Internationally recognised Aseco Brand Name.
